Meet our Designer
Johanna Dingwall

Johanna is a Halifax based garden designer who has work experience in both the greenhouse and landscaping industries. She also has a strong science background with a Bachelor of Science (Environmental Science & Biogeography) degree from McGill University in Montreal, PQ and a horticulture diploma from NSCC in Kentville, Nova Scotia.

Johanna has been designing residential and small scale commercial spaces in and around the Halifax area for the past 4 years. She has a design philosophy based on sustainable, organic gardens that are well suited for the Maritime climate. Her belief is that gardens should be easy to maintain and should not put any stresses on natural resources, which means, finding the right plant for the right place is the ultimate goal of good garden design.
